Personal, handwritten two-page, double-sided letter in ink, from Clyde J. Wann to Gordon Stewart. Dated May 29, 1931, Engineer Mine.
Letter inquires about Stewart's time at college and provides details about Wann's activities in Yukon: dog mushing in Atlin; plane crash of Wasson's "kite" (Bellanca) through the ice at Atlin; demise of Dominion Airways in Vancouver.
Clyde J. Wann and Gordon Stewart both worked for Yukon Airways & Exploration Company Ltd. In the summer of 1929, they along with pilot John "Pat" Patterson ferried the Queen of the Yukon II from Seattle to Whitehorse in a barnstorming trip.
