Ten page newspaper supplement; newspaper article on Yukon Airways and Exploration Company Ltd. in the Sunday Magazine of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, dated June 8, 1930. Article provides information on the history of the company and the type of work they do as well as their mail service and the conditions under which they fly.
Includes photos of Gordon Stewart and an unidentified Clyde Wann loading dynamite onto the Queen of the Yukon II (CF-AHD); Queen of the Yukon II beside a dock with floats on, men standing on dock and on floats; Eaglerock in winter, inside a nose hangar with a man standing in front of the plane and hanger.
The article was written in June, 1930, seven months after the crashes of the Eaglerock (G-CAUZ) and Queen of the Yukon II (CF-AHD). Stewart was in St. Louis around this time, acting as Business Manager for Yukon Airways and Exploration Company Ltd. attempting unsuccessfully to obtain another Ryan plane for the company.
