Agreement
Agreement between Mahoney-Ryan Aircraft Corporation and Yukon Airways and Exploration Company Ltd. to purchase three Ryan Brougham aircraft. Yukon Airways was to be a distributor of the aircraft and receive a 25% discount on their purchase. The agreement licensed Yukon Airways to sell airplanes in "Yukon and Northwest Territories of British Columbia, North of Prince George (including Alaska until further notice from us)".
The agreement is dated June 24th, 1929 but is not signed.
The contract was possibly originally a trifold as the back page has typed on it "Agreement between Yukon Airways & Exploration, Ltd. / W Whitehorse, Yukon Territory - Canada/ and/ Mahoney Ryan Aircraft Corporation/ of Anglum (St. Louis Co.) Missouri/ June 24th, 1929."
Written in pencil on the back of the contract is "Yukon".
Yukon Airways and Exploration Company Ltd. was essentially defunct less than six months after this contract was made, as both of its aircraft had crashed by the end of November, 1929.
The aircraft mentioned in the contract were never purchased by Yukon Airways and Exploration Company Ltd. and thus they did not become distributors of Ryan Broughams in the Yukon.
