Flight Pants
Leather flight pants are dyed brown, and lined(?) with lambswool. (Or exterior leather is dyed sheep hide and pants are made fur-side in for warmth?) No pockets. Adjustable suspender braces attach at centre of each side of front and center of back, straps are crossed just above where they are affixed at the back. Braces are made of stretch fabric, the ends are made of leather for attachment to the pants. Beneath the attachment points on the front are triangles of shiny leather, perhaps as reinforcement. Zip fly, rivet snaps appear to have been added as a closure after zipper broke, since snapping them closed would cause the fly edges to overlap. The back of the pants rises to the centre where the suspenders attach, this area is also covered with shiny leather. Inside the back of the pants is a leather loop for hanging, and a woven fabric manufacturer's label, black with write lettering, "Size Medium, Spec. No. 94.308 Order No. 42-4693, Barber Sportswear, Newburgh, New York." Zippers on the inside of the bottom of the legs.
