a) Publication; 1956 Milepost Magazine, donor has marked inner front page with "1956" in her handwriting. 128 interior pages, also 4 pages at centre of booklet with full-colour photographs of northern scenes. b and c) 2 maps folded (along original creases) and stored inside the magazine. b) Map of West Taku Arm and Whitehorse Districts, shows WPYR rail and steamer lines, also telegraph lines and trails. n.d. c) "Plan a Trip" Map published by "The Milepost" probably original to the magazine as an insertion. Shows highways of Yukon and Alaska, also other access routes including railroads, steamships and air routes.
Mrs. Whyard is a dedicated collector of all types of Yukon information, including magazines, newspaper clippings, photographs and diairies.
