A pocket lighter branded with the Canadian Pacific Airlines logo. The lighter is a square shape, very typical of the brand. The brand of lighter is called a Madison Super Automatic Lighter. The lighter is chrome colored, with a dark blue color wrapping around the center. It is on this blue wrapping, that the CP airlines logo is debossed. The logo only appears on one side of the lighter.
This item was collected by the donor as commemorative ephemera.
It was very common for airlines to brand lable many variations of every day items. This specific example is of a beautifully branded lighter, potentially to be utilized in the 'Smoking Section', of a CP airlines plane.
