Steam Whistle

A cylindrical shaped, brass steam whistle that was utilized by a paddle-wheeler. The whistle is in great condition, solid brass with a red lever on the side. The whistle is open on the bottom, meant to be screwed into a valve, to pump the steam through.
This item is supposedly off of the S.S. Tutshi. The S.S. Tutshi is located in Carcross, YT.
The S.S. Tutshi paddle-wheeler was beached in 1972 on the shores of Bennett lake in Carcross. Parks Canada began restoration work in 1977. In 1991, the Tutshi went up in flames.
