Modified WW2 Truck owned by Andy Hooper
Modified WW2 army vehicle owned by Yukoner Andy Hooper. The truck is in a dilapidated state with rust and rotten wood on the flat deck. Flat deck truck with a large winch on the front to haul heavy items like houses. The truck color is an army green mixed with rust. Three passengers can fit in the cabin of the truck. Above the passengers side is a covered hole in the roof, evidence of the trucks military origin as this hole is where the machine-gunner would be stationed.
Andy Hooper modified this truck to do heavy work around the Yukon.
This truck moved many old structures and residences around the Yukon. The Old Log Church Museum was moved to its current location by this truck. Andy Hoopers truck was infamous for slowly driving up and down two-mile hill in Whitehorse, slowing down the fast-paced driving folk.
