Blue wheel jack adapter for clarke- container carrier. Painted bright blue with rust spots and flaking paint. Dirt and grime spots.
Would have been used by White Pass and Yukon Route to transport their companies sea-cans.
Clarke containers are also known as sea cans and are used for transporting freight. Straddle carriers are the machines on land used to move the sea cans from ship-to-ship. Thus, this is a wheel jack adapter for a straddle carrier.
