Photo depicts one of the Black Wolf Squadron Aircraft during stop in Whitehorse. This plane was one of four in the squadron that were flying from New York to Nome and back in 1920, proving the feasibility of long-distance air travel. These were the first planes to land in Whitehorse. The planes were de Havilland DH-4s.
