Album containing scanned photograph images, scanned letters, photocopied documents and typed text. Photo images pertain to the life of Gordon Stewart in 1926 and 1927 as well as images of his married life with Wilda McCormick in 1931 and 1932. Letters are circa 1926, written by Gordon Stewart to Wilda McCormick.
Album also includes handwritten chronology of Gordon Stewart's life circa 1926-1929. Text appears to be transcribed from an interview with Gordon Stewart as he recollects his time in the Yukon (Mayo, Keno, Whitehorse).
A photocopy of article "I Rode a Motorcycle Down the Yukon" by Don Stewart, Alaska Magazine, February 1986, recollects the motorcycle trip taken by Don Stewart from Whitehorse to Whitehorse in 1925.
Photos document mining in Keno; transportation via horse, wagon, caterpillar tractor, and car. Dawson City, Stewart's house in Seattle, Washington, family photos and the Stewarts' house at Miller Creek are also included in the album.
There are two copies of this album, one has a scanned photo of Wilda and Gordon Stewart; the other has a group photo which includes Gordon Steart and H.A. Ray Stewart and a photo of Gordon Stewart with a dog team, caption reads "Gordon Keith Stewart 1909-1979".
This album was presumably compiled by the donor, Jerry Stewart, son of Gordon Stewart. Don Stewart is Gordon Stewart's brother; H.A. Ray Stewart is his father. Gordon Stewart married Wilda McCormick on July 25, 1931.
