Miner's carbide lamp attached to a thin wide rusty band of metal which is rivetted to an extremely deteriorated cloth (felt) miner's hat. Hat has holes throughout and is frayed at edges. Lamp brand 'Justrite' just barely visible on lamp.
Carbide lamp and hat, used in underground mininig.
