1966 YAMAHA motor bike. Frame red, gas tank and rear fender painted silver. Black leather seat 40 x 23 x 10 cm. On back of seat "Yamaha" printed in 2.5 cm high white letters. Gas tank 46 x 20 x 23 cm. Black plastic handle grips at each end of handle bars. At right handle is lever for brake. Tires spoked 58 cm diam. Black rubber. On right side of gas tank black plastic tag 10 x 3 cm "Yamaha". Headlight 11 cm diam, glass front. Speedometer has glass on face with numbers 0, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90. Under the speed numbers is printed "Yamaha". There are 3090 miles on speedometer. There is a metal kickstand to park bike on each side. Kickstands 30 cm long. Each kickstand has a flat piece of metal attached at ends 5 x 4 cm. Rear tail light is red.
Motorcycle ,used by the geology department of United Keno Hill. From the late 60's till 1980, It was used by the geoologists and engineering dept to get into remote mining areas and trails during the summer months.
